Our Plan

Bridge Project

Bridge Construction

This project will connect Mathari and Kamakwa, two key areas currently divided by the Chania River. In the absence of a proper bridge, residents—including Outspan Medical College staff, hospital patients, school children, and Nyeri town workers—are forced to take long, expensive detours. A route that should take 10 minutes on foot now takes over an hour, often requiring transport fare that many can’t afford. Tragically, some people resort to crossing over Nyewasco water pipes, putting their lives at serious risk. These makeshift crossings are not meant for pedestrian use and are extremely dangerous, especially during rains or at night. Your donation will help build a safe, permanent bridge—restoring accessibility, saving time and money, and protecting the lives of hundreds who rely on this route every day..

Park Restoration

Park Restoration

We are revitalizing a local green space for relaxation, play, and community gatherings. Help us build walkways, gardens, and safe spaces for children.

Riparian Pathway

Riparian Pathway

We're planning a scenic, eco-friendly pathway along the riparian zone to encourage nature walks and preserve the ecosystem. Your early donations will kickstart this vision.

THE CONDITION TO BE IMPROVED

Environment Conservation
Environmental Conservation

We’re reforesting degraded land, preserving biodiversity, and creating a sustainable green future for generations to come.

Bridge Construction
Condition of the bridge

The current condition of the bridge has significantly deteriorated, forcing residents to use the Nyawasco water pipe to cross the Chania River. This poses serious safety risks, particularly to school children and workers who rely on this route daily.

Park Restoration
Park & Valley Restoration

We are transforming neglected land into community eco-parks for recreation, education, and environmental regeneration.
